Introduction

Second-hand vehicle sales now have six months and 6,000 kilometers limit! According to the regulation published in the Official Gazette on 16.08.2022, second-hand automobiles and land vehicles cannot be sold and marketed until six months are passed and six thousand kilometers are made following the first registration date.

Which cars are subject to this regulation?

According to the regulation, vehicles other than automobiles and land vehicles, and vehicles registered before 16.08.2022 are not subject to this limitation.

How long will the restriction last?

It was decided that this restriction would last until 01.07.2023 and the Ministry of Commerce was authorized to extend the period up to 6 months.
