The minimum limit for applications to the Consumer Arbitration Committee has been increased by 122.93%, which is the revaluation rate. As per the communiqué, it has been stated that the Provincial or District Consumer Arbitration Committees are in charge of the disputes with a value of less than 66.000 TL for 2023.

Therefore, consumers may be able to apply to the Provincial or District Consumer Arbitration Committee in the place of residence or where the consumer transaction is made providing that the dispute falls within the scope of the monetary limit.

The relevant communiqué was published in the Official Gazette dated 16.12.2022 and will enter into force on 01.01.2023.
